The Leadership Conference on Civil Rights (LCCR) has coordinated the national legislative campaign on behalf of every major civil rights law since 1957. Ensuring equal opportunity is one of its main priorities, which includes ensuring educational excellence for all students through adequate funding for K-12 schools and by monitoring the implementation of the No Child Left Behind Act.
