The nonprofit What Kids Can Do—and its publishing arm Next Generation Press—promote "powerful learning for public purpose" by adolescents in the US and around the world. They bring youth voices and perspectives to policy debates about school, society, and world affairs. WKCD's national "first in the family campaign" puts resources in the hands of those concerned about college access and retention among first-generation students.
