The American Board for the Certification of Teacher Excellence, a national alternative-route certification organization, has added three well-known policy experts to its board of directors. They are: Joan Baratz-Snowden, former director of educational issues at the American Federation of Teachers, Bethany Little, vice president of federal advocacy and policy development at the Alliance for Excellent Education, Gregory Stone, assistant professor or research and measurement at the University of Toledo.
