ReportRoundUpCommunity College Estimated Growth: Fall 2010 from the American Association of Community Colleges. This report provides enrollment counts for credit enrollment 2000–2010 and finds that although enrollment has continued to increase, the rate of increase has slowed in comparison to previous years.

Data for Action 2010 from Data Quality Campaign. This report finds that despite progress in recent years, 11 states still cannot link data from schools with information from colleges.

Improving Middle Grades Mathematics Performance from EdSource. This analysis examines the relationship between students' 7th grade math scores on the California Standards Tests (CSTs), their 8th grade mathematics placements, and their subsequent performance on either the Algebra I CST or the General Mathematics CST.

Turning the Tide: Five Years of Achieving the Dream in Community Colleges from MDRC. In 2004, Lumina Foundation for Education launched “Achieving the Dream: Community Colleges Count,” a national initiative aimed at improving success among community college students, particularly low-income students and students of color. This report examines the first 26 colleges to join Achieving the Dream in 2004, and tracks their progress through spring 2009.

Gang Prevention: An Overview of Research and Programs from the National Gang Center. This report says that preventing at-risk youth in Title I schools from joining gangs isn't just the job of school leaders and program administrators -- their communities also play a pivotal role.

Evaluation Study of the Effect of Promethean ActivClassroom on Student Achievement from Promethean Ltd. Finds. This report finds that the incorporation of interactive whiteboards, accompanying software and hardware, and in-person and online professional development increased student achievement on teacher-designed tests across core academic subjects by an average of 16 percent.
