A new program in Georgia allows high school juniors and seniors to work towards their diploma while earning credits toward a college degree.

The Wall Street Journal ran an op-ed today on the troubles with teacher tenure written by the director of the University of Chicago Urban Education Institute. And on that same topic, the Washington Post ran an op-ed by a Stanford teacher program graduate about negotiating reasonable terms to evaluate teachers based on student results. 

A study tracking students from the Houston Independent School District shows that only 15 percent of ninth-graders go on to earn a college diploma within four years of graduating from high school.
