Shlon Smith joined the Alliance in January 2012. Previously, Ms. Smith worked with high school students with special needs as a teacher’s assistant. Prior to that, she served as a registration policy intern for the Rochester City School District in New York. Ms. Smith holds a BS degree in psychology from the University at Buffalo, the State University of New York and an MS degree in education policy from the Margaret Warner School of Education at the University of Rochester.
