Shawnice Hood joined the Alliance in May 2008. Her previous work experience includes planning large-scale conferences and events for various nonprofit organizations, budget implementation, managing administration, and providing programmatic support for projects. Ms. Hood holds event-planning certificates from George Washington University and is actively seeking to become a certified meeting planner.
