Glenn HillegasGlenn Hillegas, currently the executive vice president of the San Diego AGC Training and Trust, served as the principal of the Stanley E. Foster Construction Tech Academy (CTA) at the Kearny High Educational Complex in San Diego, California. As principal, he oversaw the school through its 2002 opening as a ninth-grade class within a school and its September 2004 re-opening as an autonomous small school.

In August of 2008, Mr. Hillegas left CTA for his current position at AGC, the major industrial partner to CTA. Prior to all of this, he created a construction program at Crawford High School in San Diego, California; envisioned and opened Scripps Ranch High School in San Diego, California; started a construction company; and served as a special education teacher. In 1998, Mr. Hillegas was voted, by his peers, San Diego City and San Diego County High School Teacher of the Year.

He holds a BA and MA in educational psychology from the University of California-Riverside and a certificate in construction management from San Diego State University.
