Fred Jones joined the Alliance in April 2010. Mr. Jones works with the federal advocacy and policy departments to advance the Alliance’s goals in Congress, with the U.S. Department of Education, the White House, and relevant education and civil rights organizations. Prior to joining the Alliance, Mr. Jones was a congressional staffer on Capitol Hill for the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Education and Labor. Mr. Jones graduated from Tufts University. In addition to his undergraduate education, he was named an Institute for Responsible Citizenship scholar and graduated from the Coro Fellows Program in Public Affairs.
