Bill DeBaun first joined the Alliance as a policy intern in August 2011. In April 2012, he was hired full time as a policy and advocacy assistant. Before coming to the Alliance, Mr. DeBaun was a research assistant in the education studies group at Westat in Rockville, Maryland. Mr. DeBaun has a bachelor’s degree in political science, with a minor in education studies, from American University and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in public policy from the George Washington University.
