Dan Fallon

Daniel Fallon served as Associate Dean of Arts and Sciences at Binghamton University, Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences of the University of Colorado at Denver, Dean of the College of Liberal Arts at Texas A&M University, and Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost at the University of Maryland in College Park.

In 1986-87, Fallon was President of the Council of Colleges of Arts and Sciences.

His B.A. degree is from Antioch College and his Ph.D. in experimental psychology was awarded by the University of Virginia.

Fallon has published extensively on issues of educational policy and served as principal adviser to the American Council of Education in the preparation of its report, "To Touch the Future."

He is currently Chair of the Education Division of Carnegie Corporation of New York, one of the nation's first philanthropic institutions.
