Britt David has been affiliated with the Alliance in both consulting and staff roles since the summer of 2003. She assumed her current position after having been the guiding force behind the Alliance’s first two national conferences on high school policy, coordinating the work necessary to produce the Alliance’s 2002–03 Annual Report CD, and handling other special projects including work on the strategic planning process. David has served as a development and external relations officer for a number of Washington-based nonprofit organizations, including the YWCA of the National Capital Area, the Economic Policy Institute, the Environmental Support Center, and Resources for the Future. She began her career working for Senator Henry M. Jackson (WA). David earned her BS in government and politics from the University of Maryland.
